The mission of the Humble Bumble Project is to alleviate even the slightest amount of financial burden faced by pediatric, adolescent, and adulthood cancer patients so patients and caregivers can focus on family rather than finance.

Humble Haversacks are specifically tailored to the unsung heroes in the lives of cancer patients – Caregivers. 

 

Caregivers provide crucial support to their loved one who is facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. They are often thrust into this role unexpectedly and take on various roles, from helping with daily activities to providing emotional and medical care. Their dedication and selflessness often go unnoticed, but their impact is immeasurable.  It is essential to acknowledge and recognize their sacrifices and to support them in their mission. 

Humble Haversacks are currently being distributed through UPMC – Hillman Cancer Centers and UPMC Home Healthcare of Central Pennsylvania and Family Hospice.

Each Humble Haversack contains the following items (may change periodically):

• Travel tissues

• Lip balm

• Hard candies
